My favorite part about an NHL team playing in a college barn is that, every time you watch highlights from the game, you get the camera angle from behind the goal that is obstructed by the safety net. ESPN, TNT, and SportsMet can put their best production folks on the job, but it still looks like Live Barn 2.0.
And can you imagine if they made the SCF?? Broadcasting a major sports championship from a rink that has to deconflict the game times with their open skate and stick-and-puck schedule?!?!
